I was going to write this once we arrive, but I forgot to do so.
We left Kuwait flying with Royal Jordan Airlines.
Airplane registration number is Alpha Gulf Yankee.
Airplane: Airbus 310, Flight number 801.
Max speed reached: 961 Km/h
Altitude: 32,000 Feet.

I guess am starting to develop interest in registration number of airplanes I fly with.
If you are wondering what is the meaning of Alpha Gulf Yankee, refer to the Phonetic Alphabet manual http://www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/MAEL/ag/phonetic.htm
These codes are often used to communicate over radio, pretty cool.

Symantec Logo

In my previous post, I mentioned that I have installed Norton Antivirus 2008 Beta.
Well, the trial period should last for 30 days, instead, just after one day of the installation, it said (Your trial period has expired).
So I seeked Symantec Live chat support. They ask you to download & install the chat support + remote assistance. Once I was there & the guy from support started talking to me, I was soon recieveing a message telling me. (Someone) is trying to connect to your computer, It was Symantec's support guy & I allowed him.
I was playing with the window when soon the mouse started moving uncontrollably & realized that he was taking over my computer. So I left him to do whatever he wants to do. Basically, he went to check the product ID key or something like that. Then after a while he closed the Norton window & moved his mouse to the (X) (Window closing button) in our chatting window (Click) & he disappeared. loooool .. I was like,, what the hell, where did he go, he didn't even solve the problem. I started laughing & turned off my computer & slept.
In the morning, I switched my computer back on, & wow, problem solved. I guess all what I needed after he did some work behind the scenes is a restart. But at least he could have said, problem solved, good bye, thanks for contacting Symatec's support team. Aint I right :)

Norton Secure

Few days ago I downloaded Norton 2008 Beta, I love to test & give my feedback, which by the way earned me a Thanks Email From Microsoft, where I have tested their One Live Care software & suggested some features which they have included upon my feedback.
After I have uninstalled Trend Micro 2007 Internet Security I installed Norton 2008 Beta & installed a game called Soldat the newest version. For some reason, mostly from the game, my computer went crazy, the VGA drivers where messed up & refused to be fixed.
The only system restore point was before the Trend Micro uninstall. So the files where lost while the setting has been restored, along with the registry of course.
Then after registry fixes & re installation of Norton 2008 Beta looks like there was a conflict between Trend Micro & Norton, my computer crashes on every shutdown. (Blue screen of death appears).
I had a final on the next morning & I needed some files on the computer. but I said to my self, pickup the Windows CD & do a repair (I wish I didn't).
Just after it finished repair, when loading Windows, it crashes with blue screen of death.
I have to say, am lucky I have Linux, which am writing this on at the moment & which saved me in viewing my files & will continue saving me to back them up before I format my hard drive.

Windows Crash After Repair!

Ok, so it's my birthday today.
At this exact time last year, I was getting out of Kuwait Scientific center aquarium, where I was diving with the Sharks & had lots of fun. But this year, am out of luck. I have Electronics Final exam tomorrow morning at 8 Am & another Final after tomorrow.
